Our aim in the cottages is to provide guests with an opportunity to fully relax into the laid back environment and atmosphere of a historic working wine farm. All cottages are equipped to the same standard and we take pride to ensure our standards remain consistent.
The most important room of a self-catering experience….. arguably the kitchens, are fully equipped allowing you to cater for everything from a simple tea and toast to a full sit down dinner – should you crave home cooked meals after sampling the many fine restaurants in the village.
The living areas all have large, comfy sofas, flat screen TV’s with DSTV (cable), DVD players , WIFI and open fires for the cooler winter evenings. All stoeps (outside areas) have dining, lounging and braai (bbq) equipment.
The bedrooms can be either a double or twin configuration on request and all beds have their own, individually controlled, electric blanket for the cooler winter evenings. Bed linen and towels are provided. Additional children’s beds and cots are available on request.
Each cottage has both bath and shower facilities.
The cottages are serviced daily except Sundays and Bank Holidays, if you would like a daily service this can be arranged at an additional cost. A laundry service can be provided if required.
There is a communal pool and kiddies play area near the Office, (children must be fully supervised in and around the pool area at all times). For our younger guests there are also highchairs and cots available.
Other additional facilities include hair dryers, iron and ironing board, tea and coffee starter packs, one basket of braai/fire wood, wall safes for valuables and international plug points for your many chargers. Wine, champagne and olive oil, harvested from the farm are available in the office.
